Xbox has announced which games will be in Game Pass in April. While the last few Game Pass updates have been a bit sparse, this update promises a few new titles as well as a brand new release on launch day, Minecraft Legends. Xbox users can also play the former PlayStation title Ghostwire Tokyo more than a year after its release.

The first Game Pass app is the card-based endless RPG Loop Hero, which launches on the platform today. Subscribers can access the tower defense game Iron Brigade later this week. Joining the platform next week is the aforementioned adventure game Ghostwire Tokyo, as well as hockey game NHL 23 for EA Play/Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Finally, the upcoming strategy game Minecraft Legends is joining Game Pass on April 18th, its launch day.

Game Pass struggled a bit in early 2023, adding fewer games to the service than it removed. Recently, eagle-eyed users noticed that the Xbox exclusive Quantum Break was on the list of retired games. However, Xbox executive Aaron Greenberg confirmed on Twitter that it is temporary while the developer updates the expired licenses used in the game.

What about the games that? are dropping Game Pass on April 15th, these include Life is Strange. True Colors, Moonglow Bay, Panzer Corps II, Rainbow Six Extraction, The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk, The Long Dark and The Riftbreaker.
