This championship is held under the supervision of the Dubai Sports Council and the UAE Basketball Federation and is supported by Sport360, Bella Contact Lens, Mai Dubai and 961 Slash.
Six teams contested for the title, Oryxes – Champs – Ballers Nation – Sparks – Mirdif Falcons – Phoenix. The tournament was held at Champs Sports Club Jebel Ali and all the matches are streamed on the Sports Mania Facebook page.
During weeks of exciting matches, 4 teams advance to the semi-finals. The Champs defeated Phoenix and Sana Chalabi won the game’s Most Valuable Player. The Oryxes cruised to victory over Ballers Nation, fueled by stellar performances from game MVPs Orlight Woods and Sarah Youssef.
The Champs faced off against the Oryxes in a hilarious Finals game that ended with a last-second victory in favor of the Champs with a final score of 53-52.
At the end of the game, in the presence of Mr. Fadi El Khatib, Owner of Legend & Champs and Mr. Charbel Kanan, Business Development Manager of Bella Contact Lens UAE, individual and team awards were distributed as follows:
