Try whole wheat pasta, which includes whole grains.


  • 2 cups uncooked pasta
  • 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna or salmon in water
  • 1/2 cup chopped zucchini
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing


  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain the cooking liquid and cool.
  • Drain tuna or salmon.
  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Refrigerate leftovers for 2 hours.
