The plot centers on 12-year-old Griffin Campbell and his family as they move from Chicago to the abandoned Tremont Hotel in Sulfur Springs, which is said to be haunted by Savannah Dillon.
Harper Marie Dunn, her new best friend at her new school, enters her life. The two encounter a gateway that transports them 30 years in the past to 1990.

Secrets Of Sulfur Springs Season 3 Ending Explained
The Season 3 finale of Secrets of Sulfur Springs revealed that Nick Campbell, a descendant of Griffin and Harper, enters from the future. Nick advises not to destroy the radio.
Season 3 introduces an all-new ghost from 1947 who moves into room 205 and immediately starts wreaking havoc at The Tremont. The children quickly discover that their lives will be destroyed by an evil spirit by 2024. As soon as they realize the danger, Dunn and Campbell set out to unravel a complex puzzle from the past that they believe will help them defeat the spirit. the present and save their families from a bleak future.
In season three, the Harper family revisits season two and learns more about the Griffins. After season 3, Sam Tremont, Daisy’s younger sibling and a recurring character member, is revealed to have a good spirit. The audience sobbed during his farewell speech. Many believed it was Sam who died right before the conclusion. He modifies the time machine throughout the season so they can choose a specific date to travel. Finally, Griffin and Harper’s future child walks in just as they are about to destroy the radio. He introduced himself as Nick Campbell and strongly urged them not to damage the time machine.

The two travel thirty years into the past through the gate. Their bond grows over the course of the series as they learn to rely on each other and keep the gate a secret from others.
