By George, he got the lead role.
Buckingham Palace has announced that Prince George, 9, will be one of the King’s pages of honor at the upcoming coronation of King Charles, 74, and Queen Camilla, 75.
“Throughout the Coronation Service on May 6, Their Majesties will each be attended by four Pages of Honour. The pages will form part of a procession through Westminster Abbey,” the palace said in a statement.
George will be joined by 13-year-old Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, whose parents are close friends of the King and Prince William.
The other two are Master Ralph Tollemasch, 12, son of the King’s godson Edward Tollemasch, and Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, 13, whose father is King Charles’ Lord.
Four more boys will act as Queen Camilla’s Pages, and they’re made up entirely of family members.
Camilla’s daughter Laura Lopez’s twins, Gus and Louis Lopez, 12, are scheduled to attend, along with master Freddie Parker-Bowles, son of her son Tom Parker-Bowles.
They are not the only youngsters from the new queen’s family to have a starring role.
11-year-old master Arthur Elliott will take part in the ceremony.
Elliott’s grandmother, Annabelle Elliott, is Camilla’s sister.
King Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles first appeared in public in 1999 after Annabelle Elliott’s 50th birthday party.
The palace also released an official invitation, confirming that the coronation will take place on 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey.
According to the royal family’s website, more than 2,000 invitations will be mailed.
The invitation, designed by heraldic artist Andrew Jamieson, features the Green Man, an ancient figure in British folklore who aptly symbolizes spring and rebirth to celebrate the new reign.

The palace also released a new photo of the couple, who got married in 2005.
No word yet on whether the royal’s youngest son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, will make the 5,459-mile journey from their Montecito, California home to London.
If they do travel, it may be the last time they stay at their former home, Frogmore Cottage.
Last month, the Duke of Sussex confirmed that his father had kicked his family out of the Windsor estate.
The eviction notice reportedly comes just a day after Prince Harry’s controversial memoir, The Storage, was released.
