President Museveni returns from Algeria

President of the Republic of Uganda H.S.O.T.O. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni returned home today from a successful three-day working visit to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

While in Algeria, the president met and held discussions with his host, President Abdelmajid Tebboune.

The leaders of the two countries witnessed the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding (MOU) in the field of bilateral cooperation and trade promotion.

President Museveni also met with a number of investors and visited the Algerian Nuclear Research Center.


On his return to Uganda, the President was received at Entebbe International Airport by Mrs. Lucy Nkyobe, Head of Public Service and Cabinet Secretary, Mr. Samuel Akena, Deputy Commissioner General of Prisons, AIGP.
