De’Aaron Fox scored 15 of his team-high 32 points in the fourth quarter and hit a game-winning 3-pointer just before the buzzer as the Sacramento Kings began a four-game road skid with a 117-114 loss. Chicago Bulls announcer Wednesday.
Fox’s big shutout began at 6:25 of the fourth when he hit a 3-pointer off a pass from Domantas Sabonis. The pass gave Sabonis his second triple-double in as many games and 11th of the season as he finished with 14 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists.
Starting with that three, Fox scored 12 points in the final 6:25, including a jumper with 41.1 seconds left in what proved crucial down the stretch.

The basket gave Sacramento a six-point lead, and the Kings needed every bit of it as Chicago responded with an 8-2 run.
Zach LaVine scored four points, part of his 25 for the contest, and DeMar DeRozan had a game-high four points and 114 points with 12.5 seconds left.
Fox’s heroics in the fourth quarter were overshadowed by a big finish by DeRozan, who made three of his four 3-pointers in the game and finished with 16 of his game-high 33 points over the final 12 minutes.

Chicago led by 16 points in the second quarter before Sacramento battled back. The second half was hotly contested with both teams ending the night with 20 lead changes and 13 ties.
Along with Fox and Sabonis, Sacramento got double-double scoring from reserves Malik Monk (19 points), Harrison Barnes (17) and Kevin Huerter (15). Monk did most of his work from beyond the arc, sinking 5 of 8 3-point attempts.
Nikola Vucevic scored 20 points and grabbed a team-high 14 rebounds for Chicago. Patrick Beverley grabbed 11 rebounds and had three points and two blocks.
