The New York Mets have updated the team’s outlook after All-Star RP Edwin Diaz suffered a season-ending knee injury in the World Baseball Classic. Diaz tore his patella tendon during Puerto Rico’s on-field celebration after the win over the Dominican Republic. The 28-year-old recently signed a $102 million contract to stay with the Mets, the largest ever.
