Parramatta midfielder Mitchell Moses showed a dejected image after losing his third game to start the season.
“We didn’t give ourselves a chance there early on, (gave them) a 14-0 lead, silly mistakes,” he told Nine’s Brad Fittler.
“It’s disappointing, but I feel (the win) is not far away at all. For three weeks we play until the last second.”
Moses missed three conversions for a total of six points, including a relatively simple one in the first half that he tapped into the face of the sticks.
He dropped two more late in the game as the heat turned up
“I have to kick them,” he said.
“That’s my job and I didn’t hit them.”
