According to the report, Liverpool have approached the player’s agents to express their interest.

Maddison’s contract expires in 2024, so Leicester City may have to make a move to avoid him leaving for nothing.

Tottenham’s desire has received a lot of attention this week. The north London club are reportedly leading the race to sign Maddison this summer, claims The Telegraph.

Tottenham have long had a soft spot for Maddison and appear to believe now is the ideal time to make a move.

But it wasn’t until hours later that reports emerged of Liverpool’s interest as the Reds looked at various midfielders.

Regardless of whether they retain their Premier League status or not, Maddison, 26, could leave Leicester.

Despite Leicester City’s struggles, Maddison has excelled in his five years at the King Power Stadium. In the current season, he became the author of 9 goals and 6 assists.

After returning to the England team, Maddison has to make a significant decision and improve his football career.

Liverpool or Tottenham would make sense for Maddison, and it appears both teams are already plotting summer moves for him.
