Despite not being on an NBA roster, Langston Galloway is still making an impact on the game. The eight-year guard is the co-founder of the Ethics brand, which features his own signature shoe. Kyrie Irving was recently spotted wearing LgTWO during his pregame warmups.
in an interview with Wenzel Ortiz of Sideline SourcesGalloway said it was a “big surprise” to see Irving Don in his shoe and previewed what’s to come for the brand.
Although Irving did not play against the Grizzlies last Saturday, he did participate in the team’s pregame shootaround. The eight-time All Star rocked a pair of LgTWO’s, Galloway’s signature sneaker. The move was highlighted by the fact that it was the first time in Irving’s career that he played in a non-Nike shoe.
When asked about his decision to donate Galloway’s shoes, Irving kept it short and sweet. “I wanted to show him some love,” Irving said ESPN:.
Galloway appreciates wearing Irving’s shoes

When speaking with Sideline Sources, Galloway praised Irving for carrying the LgTWO. He was especially appreciative of the NBA champion, making Ethics his first basketball show since Nike.
“It was a great surprise to see Kyrie rock LgTWO and show love for my brand, Ethics,” Galloway told Sideline Sources’ Wenzel Ortiz.
In addition, Galloway provided details about LgTWO. It builds on the elements that have made LgONE successful. What’s more, this is the first low-cut sneaker in the Ethics sneaker line.
“The LgTWO, our first low-cut basketball shoe, launches in early spring and shares features and elements of our successful LgONE mid-cut,” said Galloway. “Please follow the release details.”
LgTWO will be released in early spring. In the meantime, fans can purchase a pair of the LgONEs on Ethics’ official website.
Galloway currently plays for the Atlanta Hawks’ G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. The 31-year-old is averaging 14.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists this season.
Irving is a free agent in sneakers for the first time in his career

Irving is no longer a Nike athlete. The 30-year-old has worn the coveted brand since high school, but Nike recently ended their relationship.
The partnership began to dissolve in July 2021. Irving blamed Nike for not including that in the design of his eighth shoe. Then, in the spring of 2022, news broke that the swoosh brand planned to end its deal with Irving after the 2022-2023 season.
Ultimately, in November 2022, Nike ended its relationship with Irving due to what he called anti-Semitic remarks. Eventually, the Kyire 8, which was supposed to release last November, was pulled from Nike’s lineup.
Before wearing Galloway’s LgTWO, Irving covered the Nike logo on his signature sneaker, replacing it with messages. Irving’s first shoe with Nike was released in 2014.
