Former Boston Marathon champion Wesley Korir and former Starehe MP Charles Kani have been nominated for the post of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Arts and Sports.
Today, the head of the Public Service, Felix Koskei, among others, announced the names to serve in various ministries.
Korir, who was once MP for Cherangani and also popularly called Jaguar, will serve under Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba as well as Chief Secretary Jonathan Mueke.
Korir has track and field history after winning the 2012 Boston Marathon, the 2009 and 2010 Los Angeles Marathons.
