Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi was at his best as he scored and provided an assist in Nice’s 3-1 win over Sheriff in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
Gaetan Laborde opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a fine finish before the Nigerian international made it 2-0 in the 53rd minute.
However, Sheriff pulled one back in the 54th minute thanks to a well-taken goal by Abdul Tapsoba, much to the delight of the technical staff.
However, when Sheriff finally started to commit, perhaps a little late in the match, spaces opened up at the back and Bilal Brahimi took advantage of them.
The Algeria international beat two challenges in his own half, fed Moffi who hit the post. The rebound fell just short of Brahimi, who slotted into the open net from a few yards out.
