The prosecutor handling the case against former US President Donald Trump received a death threat in an envelope covered with white paper, American media reported on Friday. The letter, addressed to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, reads: “ALVIN. I AM GOING. TO KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” The envelope also contained a small amount of white powder. The white powder was likely an imitation of a series of incidents following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, in which letters laced with anthrax spores were sent to several public figures. including journalists and federal lawmakers. Five people were killed and 17 others injured in the attacks, which triggered a series of backups. News that Trump paid adult film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about an alleged sexual relationship, through his “fixer” lawyer Michael Cohen. The couple met years ago. So far, Cohen has taken responsibility for the payment, claiming he spent his own money and acted on Trump’s behalf without his knowledge. It is not known whether Bragg will press charges against Trump or what those charges might be. However, if surrendered, officials are already bracing for the possibility of violence, seeing what Trump supporters might do during the January 6, 2021 uprising at the US Capitol. As a result, the New York Police Department has already started. are making security preparations and are reportedly coordinating their response with New York state court officials, the US Secret Service, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and the DA’s office.

The latest revelation came as the former US president warned of possible “death and destruction” if New York officials indicted adult film star Stormi Daniels over payments.
The prosecutor handling the case against former US President Donald Trump received a death threat in a white envelope, US media reported on Friday.
The letter, addressed to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, read: The envelope also contained a small amount of white powder.
According to a statement from the DA’s office Friday, the letter was “immediately contained and that the NYPD Emergency Services Unit and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection determined that no hazardous material was present.”
The incident comes after Trump called on his supporters to “complain” about his alleged pending indictment by Bragg, who is suing Trump over payments made during the 2016 presidential campaign.

While Trump’s lay supporters have not shown up in a move to oust Bragg, several top Republican lawmakers have done so, sending a letter to Bragg earlier this week demanding information about his investigation. Bragg fired back, denouncing their requests as an “unlawful invasion of New York’s sovereignty” because such communications are “confidential under state law.”
It is not known whether Bragg will file charges against Trump or what those charges might be. However, if surrendered, officials are already bracing for the possibility of violence, seeing what Trump supporters might do during the January 6, 2021 uprising at the US Capitol.
In that case, thousands of followers, acting at Trump’s apparent behest, fought past police and stormed and sacked the national legislature, temporarily dissolving Congress in an attempt to block the ratification of the 2020 presidential election results, which Trump said were fraudulent. Their attempts failed, and Capitol Police and US National Guard troops escorted them from the building.
