It was revealed yesterday that Rishabh Pant will be present at the stadium to support his side. “Good news for Delhi audience. He is coming tomorrow. We got a message from the franchise two hours ago that he was coming. DDCA hopes he will come and support his team tomorrow. Good news for Delhi, GMR confirms us that Rishabh Pant is coming tomorrow.” DDCA joint secretary Rajan Manchanda said in a video released by the news agency.

Pant arrived in an SUV and made his way from the parking lot to the Arun Jaitley Stadium. He walked to the stadium bench on crutches and received a standing ovation from the audience. The young cricketer was wearing a white t-shirt and sunglasses.
Pant underwent a knee surgery in Mumbai and posted pictures of his recovery showing that he is making steady improvement.
