Hungary is becoming more and more isolated in the NATO military alliance. Even before the Ukrainian war, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has gone against the grain compared to other European Union countries.
But since then he has lost his most important patron, Poland. In a February speech in which he referred to World War II, Orbán admitted that he had run out of allies. .
