
Midfielder Ben Sheaf has signed a new contract with Coventry City until June 2026.
Schiff was originally under contract until the end of next season, in June 2024, but the 25-year-old has signed a new deal which will see him stay at Coventry until the end of the 2025-26 season.
This fresh signing also comes on the back of another strong season for Schiff, who initially joined on loan from Arsenal in September 2020 before making a permanent move 10 months later in July 2021.
During his time at Coventry, Shedd has scored four goals and provided seven assists in 90 appearances in all competitions after previous loan spells at Stevenage and Doncaster Rovers before signing for Arsenal, where he made just two appearances in 2017-18. in the season.
Coventry City manager Mark Robins commented on the announcement of Schiff’s new contract as he stated that the club were “delighted” to keep Schiff for a further two seasons beyond the initial term of his contract on this new deal.
Robbins also praised Schiff for his development during his time at CBS Arena, as he added: “He has continued to develop over the last few years since he joined us and is now a Championship midfielder with great pedigree who brings real quality and composure. our team.”
Robbins concluded by expressing his delight that Sheaf had decided to make “this commitment” as the Sky Blues continue to push for the Premier League after being relegated in 2001 and have not returned to England’s top division since. .
Coventry also tweeted an interview with Sheif, in which he admitted that signing his new contract was an “easy decision”.

Coventry next play Stoke City on Saturday, April 1 at 3pm and are currently eighth in the Championship, three points behind sixth-placed Millwall, who occupy the final play-off spot.
