A man has been charged with attempting to sexually assault a woman on Bondi’s Mitchell Street

Police launched a search before arresting the 35-year-old man during a routine traffic stop in Doncaster Avenue, Kensington at 4.30pm on Saturday, a day after.

The man, who is from Randwick, was taken to Waverley Police Station and charged with five offences.

Attempting to sexually assault a person without consent, sexually touching a person without consent and intimidation with physical fear, etc., stalking with intent to harm, etc.

He was also charged with common assault and willful and indecent exposure in a public place/school/vicinity.

He was refused bail and was due to appear in Parramatta bail court on Sunday.
