- Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro alleged leak online.
- They assume a familiar-looking design like the previous model.
- The leak comes ahead of the launch, which is slated for April 14.
ROG Phone 7 is a highly anticipated smartphone for gaming enthusiasts. Last month, Asus confirmed the launch date, which is slated for April 14th. While the launch will take place late next week, new renders show what the device will look like in addition to the accessories that will likely launch alongside it.
The fresh leak comes from a tipster Evan Blass who shared some images of the alleged ROG Phone 7. On the design front, the images suggest a familiar-looking device similar to the previous ROG Phone 6 Pro. That goes for the rear design as well as the rounded corners.
In addition, Blass also showed off accessories attached to the alleged ROG Phone 7, including an Aero Active Cooler, a bumper case, and a screen protector. Also, along with the design, the device is likely to feature a triple camera setup alongside an LED flash at the back. Like the previous models, the small gaming screen on the back is likely to remain on the ROG Phone 7 Pro model as well.
ROG phones are always considered the best choice for the best gaming phones, and the upcoming ROG Phone 7 models are likely to be no exception. Based on earlier benchmark leaks, the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7D are likely to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Qualcomm’s latest and greatest flagship processor.
The benchmark leak further revealed some of the alleged phone’s specs, which include a 165Hz refresh rate OLED display, again similar to its predecessor. According to previous reports and these new renders, the ROG Phone 7 Pro could be a significant upgrade over the ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro in terms of performance.
The ROG Phone 7 series is scheduled to launch on April 14 in New York at 8 a.m. ET, with simultaneous launches in Taipei and Berlin.
